Mike and Sonia Stucko are 2 bartenders who bought a bar. They met as 2 young bartenders working together at JJ’s Shamrock here in Marquette in the summer of ’94. Soon after meeting, the endless “When we have our own bar” conversations began. A year later, the relentless pursuit to learn the best and worst about the restaurant business moved them to Key West, Florida and then to Lansing, Michigan. Eventually their adventures brought them back to Marquette in the fall of ’99.

We have always revolved our dream around the most simple of concepts, starting with great quality products at good prices, and doing it all with the very best service.

Good enough is NEVER good enough

It sure has been a lot of fun watching this place change and evolve over the last 19 years. We embrace the history of the building, (Originally a Shell Gas Station), and kept the old Picnic Tables from Pap’s Pub, (Do you see them on the walls?), along with continuing the Sistine Chapel of Third Street-look up! Our menu and building is always evolving because we believe good enough is never good enough!

There is a lot of work that goes into you enjoying yourself here, and we look forward to the challenge every day!

Our entire staff is dedicated to delivering quality products and the very best service.
